Anonymous said: does God promise us to give us and our families physical protection? If yes, What Scriptures tells us about it? And if not, what can we do to protect ourselves and our families physically?

I replied:

God promises to protect us and never leave us or forsake us. There are arguments that would ask: why does God let people get stabbed or beaten? I’m not sure why things like that happen, but you have to believe that there is reason for it and that God is walking alongside with you.
Psalm 23:1-4 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

There are more verses that speak of protection. While I’m not 100% sure about physical protection, I know that God does what He does for a reason. There’s something to His plan. One of the biggest things is to always remember and trust that God is with you. I remember a few years ago I was mountain boarding and I was terrified that I would fall and get hurt, but the more I remembered His presence with me I calmed down and was able to do it, without getting hurt. I got hurt once, but I think that May have been a way for God asking for my trust. I wasn’t seriously hurt and I did really trust God after that. If you want to message me off anon I can talk to you more and give you more bible verses if you would like. I hope this helped. God bless!

I’d rather be in the mountains thinking of God, than in church thinking about the mountains.

Prayer Request!

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could pray for me! I’m struggling with temptation lately and I have been struggling to keep God the focus of my life. Also, I’m having family problems and my parents are thinking of getting a divorce, if you could pray for that as well! Thank you so much! God bless!

The most beautiful thing

is that He knows

what you are about to tell Him

and yet

He still listens.

tonight
The world screams, “We are what we do, we are what we have, we are what people think about us!” Christ whispers, “You are mine and I am yours.”
